We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.

We are recruiting for an energetic and enthusiastic support worker to work with our client in the Wakefield area.

About The Role

Our client who is 10 years of age. He has epilepsy, learning difficulties, behavioural issues, feeding difficulties and requires support 24/7.

The client lives in the Wakefield area with his parents and siblings.

What You'll Be Working

SUPPORT WORKER – Location: Wakefield

• Part time Monday to Sunday
• £13.00 per hour Mon – Fri
• £14.00 per hour Sat & Sun
  
  

What You'll Be Doing

• The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, activities of daily living and recreational activities, and empowering them to be as independent as possible.
• The client requires complex support in their day to day needs.
• The support worker must be able to fully participate in a range of activities with the client, including physiotherapy, appointments, indoor and outdoor play, whilst demonstrating the ability to assess risk and always keep the client safe.
  
  

What You'll Have

• We are looking for someone with experience of working with children with additional and complex care needs, including epilepsy, diabetes and brain injury, so previous care experience with children in these areas is essential.
  
  

The successful applicant will receive full training for this role, input from Therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.

• Driver with a full UK License is essential.
