About The Role

Support Worker (Part time) -Llanfoist, Abergavenny, Llun Y Mynydd -Hourly rate £11.60 to £12.50 dependent on qualifications and experience.

Part Time 21 Hours Per Week

• Week 1: You will work 3 shifts.
• Week 2: You will work 4 shifts.
• Shifts Days: Any day from Monday through Sunday.
• Shift Times: 09:00 to 15:00.

The Role: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with autism.

About LlynY Mynydd: Join our team at Llun Y Mynydd, a tranquil residence nestled in the serene rural surroundings of Llanfoist, near Abergavenny. Overlooking scenic Blorenge Hill, this inviting home provides a warm and secure haven in a peaceful cul-de-sac with gated access for safety and privacy. Llanfoist boasts a close-knit community with convenient public transport and local amenities including a church hall, post office, pharmacy, and supermarket. Our individuals can also enjoy relaxing walks along the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, offering peaceful outdoor experiences conducive to supporting individuals with autism.

A day in the life of working at Llun y Mynydd includes:

• Providing high-quality care and support tailored to the specific needs of our supported individuals.
• Encouraging and assisting individuals in participating in activities, hobbies, and social interactions.
• Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and personal care, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Promoting independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalised care plans.
• Ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all individuals.
