Are you an Advanced Practitioner? Looking to work in a busy hospital environment with a varied caseload?
Do Orthopaedics or soft tissue interest?
If so we may have the role for you!
Here at Nine Mile Veterinary Group we are excited to recruit a certificated Surgeon (who is ideally an Advanced Practitioner) to join our busy Hospital based in Berkshire. The surgical case load of both orthopaedics and soft tissue is high and we are looking for someone who thrives on being busy with a varied and exciting day. We have all the gear including a
brand new CT and we aren't adverse to buying more if the needs arise!
We also run our own OOH service with a designated emergency team; patients are never transferred for post-operative care!
As a flexible employer we are happy to consider Full and part time applicants for this role.
This role would suit a Small Animal Vet who currently has a surgical certificate. The successful applicant should be confident in simple orthopaedic surgeries and enjoy a mixed caseload. You will be working alongside our second part time Surgeon as part of the surgical team.
If you think this could be you then in return we would offer a very competitive salary of up to £80,000, excellent CPD package (we strongly encourage further education), a 4 day week with minimal Saturday mornings and minimal first opinion and most importantly a great team to be part of!
Additionally you will also have access to our benefits package which includes:
- Buy and sell holiday policy with the opportunity to have up to 7 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays!
- Long service holiday scheme where you can have up to an additional 5 days off on top!
- VDS and RCVS fees paid
- Electric car buying scheme (service and MOT included)
- Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Pay
- Employer contribution pension scheme.
- Sharesave scheme.
- Health cash plan
- Staff discounts on pet products
- Access to a range of flexible benefits to suit your needs – such as subsidised gym membership and cycle to work scheme.
CVS is committed to being a fully inclusive place to work where all our colleagues are encouraged and supported to be themselves, where difference is celebrated and where everyone feels able to deliver their best. We are determined to build a workforce that is more representative of our diverse communities and the people we provide our services to.
