• n by:
  As a Surgical Care Practitioner in the Theatres, you will be required to work alongside the Lead Surgical Care Practitioner to support Robotic Surgery within the depa
• rtment.You will have responsibility to the Consultant surgeon, with day-to-day assisting under the direction of the operating surgeon and as a member of the surgical car
• e team.Provide safe, competent patient side assistance across multiple robotic surgical specia
• lities.Be calm, reliable and organised in a busy envir
• onment.Act as first assistant if procedure moves to an open/non-robotic conv
• ersion.Eventual cross cover between Da Vinci Xi & SP robotic pla
• tforms.Team player helping ensure the smooth flow of robotic cases through the depa
• rtment.Robotic trouble shooting, advising, and planning where re
• quired.Shared oversight of robotic equipment and related consu
• mables.Varied working
• hours.Assist with ad-hoc robotic staff training mornings (usually two – three times ann
• ually).This is a clinical bedside assistance role with no patient clinics or ward rounds in
