Job description
This role sits within the Policy & Innovation Team of the Innovation and Growth department. As a Sustainable Finance Engagement Manager, you will lead the City of London Corporation’s signature events in the field of sustainable finance. This includes the Corporation’s flagship Net Zero Delivery Summit which takes place in June each year, as well as organising the Corporation’s engagements at COP. You will also work to identify emerging opportunities to profile the wider work of the Corporation on sustainable finance, including across transition finance, carbon markets and impact investing. The post-holder will work closely with the FPS industry, central government stakeholders and other sustainability initiatives and organisations.

About you
Ideally you will be educated to degree level or have the equivalent significant skills and experience working in the financial and professional services sector.
You will have a demonstrated ability to successfully plan and deliver strategic, high quality, high profile events
You will have demonstrable excellent oral and written communication skills, to be able to influence people at all levels and to write high quality briefings
You will have an excellent ability to quickly develop relationships with stakeholders and to analyse information from a variety of sources.
You will have experience of having worked in or on behalf of financial and professional services
You will have knowledge of UK (and global) sustainability trends.
