We’re proud to have been helping our clients build better financial futures for over 50 years. How have we achieved this? By working together - and supporting each other - all over the world. So, join our Sustainable Investing team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.

Our clients come from all walks of life and so do we. We are proud of our inclusive culture and encourage applications from the widest mix of talent, whatever your age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, social background and more.

As a flexible employer, we trust our people to perform their role in the way that works best for them, our clients and our business. We are a disability-friendly company and would welcome a conversation with you if you feel you might benefit from any reasonable adjustments to perform to the best of your ability during the recruitment process and beyond.

About Your Team

Fidelity believes that high standards of corporate responsibility make good business sense and protect and enhance investment returns. Our investment process takes environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) issues into account when, in our view, these have a material impact on either investment risk or return.

ESG analysis is being carried out by analysts across asset classes and our portfolio managers are active in analysing the potential effects of these factors when making investment decisions. The Sustainable Investing team works closely with the investment teams and is responsible for consolidating Fidelity’s approach to stewardship, engagement, ESG integration and the exercise of our votes at general meetings. The team also works closely with policymakers, industry groups and non-governmental organisations to improve sustainable behaviours by businesses across the world, as well as external and collaborative sustainability related initiatives that seek to improve the way industries and regulated and companies are managed.

About Your Role

You will work collaboratively across the business to deliver our nature roadmap and its integration with our climate strategy, supporting the delivery of our nature thematic engagement programme as well as delivering related reporting. You will work collaboratively with our investment professionals to integrate sustainability considerations into our investment process, including engaging with our investee companies on ESG issues as required. In this capacity you will work across the IM platform globally, with primary focus on our UK and European-based investment teams. You will contribute to the development of Fidelity’s sustainable investment policies, and work collaboratively with our stakeholders across the business to integrate nature-related data and tools into our processes and systems to support Fidelity’s ambitions. You will also work with client-facing teams to evidence the ESG integration process to our clients and consultants, particularly those based in the UK and Europe, acting as a spokesperson both internally and externally.
