THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Systems Design Engineer specialising in weapon systems to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and integrating advanced weapon systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Weapon System Design: Develop and integrate weapon systems, working with engineering teams to ensure safety and performance.
• Requirements Management: Define and manage system specifications from concept to delivery, ensuring traceability.
• Systems Integration: Oversee weapon system integration into larger platforms, mitigating risks.
• Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure designs meet all requirements.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure designs adhere to military standards and safety regulations.
• Technical Documentation: Produce documentation, system diagrams, and reports.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver projects.
  
  

Skills

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Systems, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in weapon systems design and development.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, integration, and validation.
• Proficiency in modelling tools like MATLAB or Simulink.
• Familiarity with military standards and safety regulations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree, experience with platform integration, control systems, and working with defence organisations.
