Salary: Up to £45 - 55k - Total package depending on experience

Introduction to the role:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing Gray Healthcare’s Talent Team and implementing the recruitment strategy to ensure that we are attracting and recruiting the right quality of candidates in the right number and at the right time to facilitate the Company’s growth strategy.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Degree or equivalent education.
- 5 year’s experience of recruiting staff, ideally within the Health and Social Care sector.
- Creativity and innovation in recruitment marketing
- Proven track record of using social media in recruitment
- Strong and charismatic communication skills, with the ability to motivate the team to achieve their goals.
- Commitment to developing engaging relationships with candidates
- Solution-focused approach to recruitment challenges
- Ability to obtain and maintain accurate records about recruitment statistics and be able to interrogate these to ensure they are working for the Company.
- Current, up to date knowledge about recruitment strategies and initiatives.
- Line management experience.
Desirable:
- Understanding of CQC regulations
- Experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector
Key responsibilities:
- Direct line management of the Talent Team.
- Oversight of the GHC ATS
- Working with the Marketing Manager to lead in Recruitment marketing campaigns; identifying and attending key recruitment fairs, use of social media, managing recruitment sites, directing CV database searches, designing marketing materials.
- Working closely with Operations, Clinical and Business Development Managers to understand recruitment requirements for potential growth and clear requirements of any new business in regards to candidate experience, knowledge etc.
- Reviewing recruitment policies and procedures to ensure best practice and compliance with our regulatory bodies .
- Designing job adverts with the involvement of operational colleagues and the individuals we support
- Ensuring that we are continually reviewing our methods of attraction and that they are working for the company, sourcing alternatives where current methods may not be working for us.
- Providing and monitoring all recruitment-based statistics e.g. number of vacancies, number of applications, number of conversions etc with the intention of identifying trends and making suggestions for improvement to current ways of working.
- Ensuring up to date knowledge about compensation packages, particularly in relation to Gray Healthcare competitors and feeding back any suggestions for improvement to Heads of Department/Senior Management Team.
- Designing interview questions and competency tests with the involvement of operational colleagues and the individuals we support
- Participate in interviewing candidates for more senior and specialist roles within the organisation, in partnership with Senior Managers
- Liaising with key stakeholders such as NHS Recruitment Leads, Recruitment Agencies and Apprenticeships Schemes with Learning & Development Manager.
- Ensuring the Recruitment Team undertake all necessary compliance checks, for example, DBS checks and references. Offering support and guidance when there are any queries about an individuals suitability to work.
- Maintaining recruitment records as required of the Data Protection Act and the company’s information governance arrangement .
- Maintain key information indicators (KPI) on recruitment
