The role


We’re looking for a Talent Engagement Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be looking to grow their career within a people team. You don’t have to have worked in a technology consultancy, but understanding the industry will help.


The role involves scheduling and co-ordinating our candidate interviews, working with our wider Opencast interview community to ensure we have the right levels of availability to meet the needs of our hiring plans. You’ll have a passion for ensuring we deliver a positive journey for our internal stakeholders and our external candidates.


Within the role, there is scope to get involved in wider exciting Talent Engagement and people team initiatives. This could include process improvement, training and events.


This is a development role, and we will consider you even if you have limited Talent Acquisition experience, if you can demonstrate the right mindset and good communication skills.



This role will involve:


  • Supporting the recruitment journey, working within the Talent Engagement team and our interview communities
  • Communicating with candidates to ensure a consistent, speedy and positive experience
  • Schedule candidate interviews and managing our scheduling process
  • Working with our partners to progress candidates through the recruitment process
  • Helping to organise and attending events
  • Supporting business change and process improvement initiatives

  • Want to learn and are naturally inquisitive
  • Detailed oriented, ability to spot when things don’t look right
  • Are a problem solver and enjoy challenging the status quo
  • Are highly organised and have good time management skills
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Are a team player and collaborate well with others
