Role Summary
At TBI, our mission is to help every individual in our organisation thrive and reach their full potential. We’re seeking a Talent Manager to lead and embed our talent management approach – one that identifies, develops, and retains the people who will shape our future. This role will bring rigour and creativity to talent processes, build succession depth, manage our high-potential (HiPo) programmes, and enable leaders to make robust, data-informed talent decisions. We're looking for a strategic, structured thinker with experience in tools like talent grids and a passion for unlocking potential at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of TBI’s talent management strategy (aligned to organisational goals)
- Manage the annual talent and succession planning cycle, ensuring active engagement and ownership from senior leaders
- Partner with People Business Partners and leaders to calibrate talent assessments and identify critical roles and successors
- Own the talent data lifecycle, from gathering insights to reporting outcomes that inform workforce planning
- Design and manage High Potential development experiences with clear entry criteria, development pathways, and success measures
- Regularly evaluate the impact of talent initiatives, including pipeline strength, mobility, and diversity
- Report on talent metrics and use insights to inform decision-making and iterate approaches
- Ensure budget is used strategically to support key talent priorities
Essential Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in talent management
- Strong understanding of talent identification, succession planning, and development frameworks
- Experience designing and delivering talent initiatives (e.g. high-potential development, leadership pipelines, capability reviews)
- Clear grasp of external talent and workforce trends, able to bring in new thinking and benchmark against best practice
- Confident in embedding a talent mindset across a business, working with leaders to prioritise, develop, and stretch their people
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, or change-oriented environment

- Commercially aware, strong understanding of the link between talent and business performance
- Naturally curious and up to date with talent trends, tools, and thinking
- Strong stakeholder management skills, credible and influential with senior leaders

- High levels of discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence
