The EY Tax Technology and Transformation Consulting team (“EY TTT Consulting”) specialise in helping clients navigate these challenges, bringing together the most advanced technology platforms and tools with deep expertise in technology, tax & finance and consulting. The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join EY’s specialist Transformation capability within the Tax Technology and Transformation Consulting team. With a focus around BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2, CbCR and other tax regulatory changes, this role presents a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking Tax professional to be at the forefront of shaping the future of tax compliance and strategy within a dynamic and technologically driven environment. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-growing part of the UKI Tax practice, having the opportunity to work with significant multinational clients and to engage with our global EY network, providing a great opportunity to build and expand your corporate network.
Modern tax regulations such as BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 are highly complex and dynamic, and our clients need our support navigating these new regulations and understanding what they mean for them in terms of technology solutions, as well as data, controls, process and governance strategies. As a TTT Consulting professional at EY, you'll use experience of direct tax compliance, group tax provisioning and international tax principles to help clients identify and implement the right technology tools and making a significant impact on their operations, ensuring they remain compliant in a rapidly evolving tax landscape.
The primary role would be to engage with clients, managing and contributing to the implementation of innovative Pillar 2 technology solutions, analysing and enhancing clients' tax data collection and management processes to meet new reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities
We are looking for strong candidates with experience of working within direct tax (in-house or professional services) and a keen interest in technology. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Manage projects related to the implementation of tax technology solutions, ensuring alignments with the BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 requirements and other tax regulatory changes.
- Perform comprehensive data gap analyses to identify areas where the client’s current data collection is insufficient to meet new reporting requirements.
- Design and maintain tax data dictionaries that define data elements and their sources, uses and interdependencies.
- Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure ongoing compliance with BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 and other tax regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyse tax technology trends, regulatory developments and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing high-quality consultancy and support on tax technology related matters..
- Drive the automation of tax processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors and ensure compliance with changing tax laws and standards.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, providing regular feedback and support to aid in their professional development.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Candidates would ideally have a range of the below skills. However not all are essential.
- Familiarity with international tax principles, OECD guidelines and experience with cross-border tax issues.
- An understanding of the interpretation and implementation of tax regulations, including the impact of BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 on client’ business operations.
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar and their tax/finance related modules.
- Experience working in a cross-functional teams, both with internal and external stakeholders, including international tax, finance, group tax reporting, IT and legal, to develop integrated tax technology solutions.
- Understanding of the process’s clients would typically follow for Direct Tax compliance processes, including tax provisioning.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate future tax and technology challenges.
- Consulting background preferable but not required – used to interacting with clients and working on large-scale projects.
- Experience translating technical tax and technology information into user-friendly language for presentations, training material and business proposals.
- Skilled in storytelling and narrative development to engage audiences and convey complex tax and technology concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
- Strong coaching skills to help develop junior team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 4+ years experience working within Tax Technology, Tax compliance or a related advisory role. (either in-house or professional services)
- A thorough understanding of Direct Tax compliance processes (Group Tax Reporting, Tax Accounting preferable)
- Experience in understanding the implications of recent regulatory changes such as BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2 is preferable but not required.
- An Accounting or Tax Qualification is preferable but not required.
