Tax & Treasury Manager

We're seeking a dynamic Tax & Treasury Manager to lead our tax strategy, compliance, planning, transfer pricing, and income tax accounting. This key role also oversees the preparation of tax returns, manages relationships with our banks, and ensures effective cash flow management. You'll stay ahead of evolving tax legislation, drive tax efficiency, and uncover savings opportunities, ensuring compliance while reducing tax liabilities for both the business and individuals. With a sharp focus on optimising our cash position and interest payments, you'll also compile essential documentation, resolve complex tax issues, and act as our main liaison with tax authorities. This is a high-impact leadership role within both the Finance team and the wider SPT organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Group tax strategy, working with advisors to optimise our tax rate through compliant transfer pricing policies.
• Execution of tax planning measures.
• Communicating with third-party experts.
• Forecast and manage the group tax rate.
• Advise on and manage the accounting for VAT and Income taxes
• Prepare and submit accurate tax returns on time
• Work with the external auditors to ensure a clean and timely audit
• Prepare annual tax disclosures
• Input relevant tax information into compensation packages.
• Manage the relationships with our banking partners.
• Collate group cash flows and manage short term borrowings to minimise interest costs.
• Be a leader within and outside of the finance team.

About you & your skills:

• Have proven work experience as a Tax Manager.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
• Experience in optimising tax across a global group of companies.
• Proficient in forecasting and managing cash.
• Knowledge of tax software and MS Office.
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Analytical skills with detail orientation.
