About The Role
As Subject Lead for Business Studies, you will shape the direction and delivery of the subject across the Senior School. You’ll lead on curriculum planning, promote academic excellence, and foster a dynamic learning environment that brings business theory to life. With a commitment to personalised teaching, you will track progress, set ambitious targets, and provide effective support to ensure every student thrives. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to whole-school improvement, and play a key role in the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities and events. This role also involves leading department development and ensuring a strong subject profile.
This is a full-time, fixed term contract for one academic year acting as Maternity Cover.

You have experience leading or developing a subject and bring creativity, initiative, and a strong team ethos. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you’re committed to high standards, both academically and pastorally. You enjoy motivating pupils, using data effectively, and adapting to changing needs. You’re confident managing responsibilities and deadlines, and keen to contribute to wider school life.
