About This Role
We are expanding our teaching team in our mathematics faculty and we have an opportunity for a highly creative, dynamic and motivated Teacher of mathematics with a commitment to academic excellence and student success. Working as part of a faculty team, you will play an important role in delivering and developing the Academy’s provision of mathematics across KS3 and KS4. You will plan and deliver high quality lessons and be committed to achieving excellent results for all students, inspiring in them to have a passion for mathematics and the desire to learn and succeed.

You will have an impact on the qualifications that the academy offers, working with the team to be part of the on-going development of our relevant curriculum provision.
The person appointed will play an important part in the continual development of a busy and successful curriculum team. We were graded ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted in July 2022 and you will be joining a team that is continuing to drive the school forward.

Our Mission
Our mission is that we believe that students will aspire to excellence through literacy, with a specific focus on oracy at Key Stage 3. Students will learn to become masters of retrieval and experience a curriculum which develops students’ cultural capital.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Be passionate about their subject bringing energy and enthusiasm to the students they teach
- Be able to teach across the age & ability range, demonstrating excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students to enable them to achieve their full potential
- Have a strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum at KS3 & KS4 and contribute to our extra-curricular programme.
