About The Role
As a Teacher of PE & Games at Downsend Sixth Form, you will be teaching pupils from Years 2 to 13, with a particular focus on Hockey and Netball. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across both academic and practical PE, inspiring a love for sport while promoting fitness, teamwork, and discipline. Your role will also include leading and coaching sports teams, running after-school clubs, and supporting weekend fixtures. As the school grows into a full through-school model with the opening of our Sixth Form in September 2025, you will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to this exciting phase of development. You’ll be working with a team of committed PE specialists in a school with excellent facilities and a strong sporting tradition.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a late August 2025 start date.
