Come and join our vibrant heavily oversubscribed 11-18 rural school with excellent facilities. We are a happy, forward thinking, creative and collegiate staff body and you will be joining the school at an exciting stage of its development.
We are excited to have the opportunity to add to our dedicated Science team a teacher with a proven track record or the ability and willingness to build that record with our support. You will be ready to inspire and light fires in KS3 and 4.
To Be Successful, You Will
Have the required experience to teach Science across the whole ability range in KS3 and KS4. There is the potential to teach Science at KS5 for a candidate with suitable experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Learning:
- Deliver high-quality lessons and assess student progress.
- Support the Head of Department in monitoring teaching standards and implementing effective strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with staff to improve teaching practices and ensure a consistent approach across the department.
- Lead StepLab:
- Lead the implementation of StepLab, ensuring its effective use by all department staff.
- Analyse data from StepLab to monitor student progress and guide interventions.
- Support the Head of Department by coordinating training and providing guidance on StepLab usage across the department.
