Job Summary
Kiwa CMT is seeking a Technical Administrator to join our Street Lighting department. Based in our Derby office, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the street lighting structural testing team. This includes assisting with staff scheduling, contract preparation, report and quote production, and ensuring timely client service. About The Role
- Set up new job files, input data accurately, and ensure seamless transfer to field technicians' OneDrive/Baseplate systems
- Preparing maps for site technicians
- Preparing and sending quotes for jobs
- Merging of site data in Microsoft Excel in preparation for reports
- Creating test reports for clients
- Liaising with staff, clients and suppliers as required
- Answering general telephone and email enquiries from staff and clients
- Maintaining job progress matrix
- Request customer feedback and other general administration duties as required
- Opportunity for potential enrolment in an administration apprenticeship program, once settled into the role
Do you have what it takes?
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with management, staff, and clients
- Professional handling of client inquiries with prompt resolution
- Commitment to preparing and issuing reports on time
- Understanding of test results, influencing factors, and accurate data recording
- Familiarity with test procedures and relevance of results for clients (desirable)
What can you expect from us in return?
- £25,389.00 per annum
- Generous Annual Leave - Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
- 38.75 hours per week - Monday to Friday, office based role
