The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst you will join our team and work on customer’s Insight Platform version 2 project. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and analytical prowess to design user stories and document critical design decisions as they transition the current environment to a micro front end architecture with a monolithic central provisioning engine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand and document their needs and translate these into detailed user stories and functional specifications.

• Technical Analysis: Utilize your technical skills to assess and recommend solutions that align with the project’s goals. Analyse existing systems and identify areas for improvement or enhancement.

• Design Documentation: Create comprehensive design documentation that includes data flows, system interfaces, and technical specifications. Ensure that all design decisions are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, architects, and other team members to ensure that the design and implementation of micro front end interfaces and the central provisioning engine meet business requirements.

• Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements and are free of defects.

Your Profile:

key skills/knowledge/experience:

• Proficiency in technical analysis, requirements gathering, and design documentation. Familiarity with microservices architecture and monolithic systems is highly desirable.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• A good understanding of object orientation concepts ie. Objects, classes, inheritances etc.

• Data modelling concepts understanding (this would include relationship cardinality, different types of models.

• Experience of working in agile projects within scrum teams.

• The ideal candidate may have a .Net development background (ideally C#) coupled with an understanding of data modelling concepts and practices.

• Coming from a software development background or having worked within software development lifecycle projects – highly desirable.

• Familiarity and exposure of working within DevOps environment.
