Purpose of the Role

Join the Production Planning team as the Technical Manager- Process Planning where you’ll provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the achievement of project deliverables and business objectives and play a pivotal role in delivering efficient, safe and sustainable production processes. Reporting into the Functional Manager, your main responsibilities include;

• Taking a lead role in delivering of Quality Planning (APQP) processes and activities in Pre-series and Series Production ensuring internal and external audit compliance.
• Management of production process development in-line with project timings and PEP deliverables.
• Leading process improvement workshop activities to achieve production time targets.
• Concurrence of responses to Business requirements, Engineering change & technical documentation
• Delivery of project milestones & monitoring detailed Project plans
• Maintaining Key Performance Metrics and coordinate activities to resolve concerns and issues affecting achievement of technology target
• Maintain effective communication throughout, ensure factual and effective communication at all levels, representation of function in technical meetings, collate and present relevant data, issue escalation, relationship building internally and externally, make recommendations for technical presentations

About You – Skills And Experience

• Experience of manufacturing processes and process designs
• Comprehensive knowledge of advanced product quality planning
• Strong communication and influencing skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively, both inside and outside of the organisation
• The ability to manage projects from start to finish whilst consistently delivering against targets and driving improvements
• The management of daily workload, as well as the ability to plan and react to medium and long term task and project requests
