What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a
Technical Project Manager to take the lead on some of our most strategic and transformative projects: including the integration of
Generative AI into our platform and internal operations. This isn’t just a role where you manage timelines and deliverables.
Driving projects forward you'll be able to see your influence at all levels of the business, from entry level up to the executive team. You’ll help shape the way we work, future-proof the organisation, and bring next-generation tools to life in a way that delivers real impact for our teams and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end: Lead the delivery of strategic initiatives — from early discovery through to execution and evaluation.
- Support our AI evolution: Guide our exploration and integration of GenAI tools, working with stakeholders to assess impact, cost-effectiveness, and long-term fit.
- Deliver across a broad transformation portfolio: You’ll be involved in a range of projects that will be high impact and help shape the future of Trainline.
- Work across the business: Align product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders behind shared outcomes and priorities.
- Think critically and act decisively: Evaluate tools, weigh trade-offs, and drive evidence-based recommendations.
- Lead with structure, stay flexible: Set clear goals, identify risks, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
What Matters To Us
- Project & Program Leadership: You’ve led cross-functional projects at pace — ideally in a digital or tech-led environment.
- Technology Fluency: You don’t need to code, but you do understand software development workflows, data platforms, and how tooling decisions ripple across a business.
- AI Curiosity: You’re familiar with generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) and excited by their potential — even if you haven’t led AI projects before.
- Decision-Maker: You’re comfortable evaluating options, consolidating tools, and recommending scalable solutions.
- Great Communicator: Whether with engineers, execs, or end users, you bring clarity and alignment.
- Efficiency-Focused: You think about user needs, process friction, and how to streamline at scale.
If you're ready to lead high-impact work, bring AI to life in real ways, and shape how we operate as a business then apply and lets start the journey!
