Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) who can thrive amidst complexity and fast-moving priorities. You’ll be working across a diverse project portfolio ensuring initiatives are delivered with precision and impact. This is a critical role in bringing structure and oversight to an environment where delivery capacity is stretched and priorities are constantly evolving.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle across multiple concurrent initiatives (currently 70+ active projects).
- Partner closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive timely and effective delivery.
- Introduce and maintain agile processes, adapting methods and workflows to suit the project and stakeholder needs.
- Bring order to complexity: create structure, prioritization, and accountability across technical teams.
- Act as a senior point of contact for project stakeholders—ensuring expectations are aligned and communication is clear at all levels.
- Build documentation, status reporting, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks that improve clarity and reduce delivery risk.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience in high-pressure, delivery-heavy environments.
- Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and cloud-based project delivery.
- Exposure to High-Frequency Trading (HFT) environments or projects involving trading flow and low-latency systems.
- Deep knowledge of front-to-back lifecycle in a trading or finance technology environment.
- Experience with or understanding of payments processing is highly desirable.
- Background from a crypto firm, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm preferred—less likely to come from a traditional bank.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to chaotic or undefined environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: takes ownership, thrives under pressure, proactive in problem-solving.
- Flexible and agile: able to adapt working styles and methodologies as required.
- Strong stakeholder engagement abilities and the maturity to influence senior decision-makers.
