What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Technical Support Manager on a permanent basis within our Cross Borders line of business, this position is located in our London office. This is a fantastic opportunity as it’s a newly created role within the business, where you will be responsible for working as part of a wider Technical Operations / Application Support team.
You will manage a small team of globally distributed Analysts, focus on the support and management of applications, primarily hosted on Windows servers with some SaaS-based solutions included too. You will report into the Technical Operations Director and regularly collaborate with other IT teams.
How We Work
As a Technical Support Manager you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis from our London office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in the designated office
- Company-issued equipment
- Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
- Having line management of globally disbursed application support staff providing high-touch support as necessary.
- Supporting incident management activities, including coordination, escalation, and clear business communication during major incidents.
- Supporting and management of applications, primarily hosted on Windows servers with some SaaS-based solutions included.
- Coaching and train team members, acting as a go-to escalation point.
- Collaborating with parent company who manage underlying infrastructure and ITIL processes.
- Providing hands-on technical support across various systems including:
- Windows servers including iis and .net environments
- Financial applications
- Monitoring and alerting tools.
- Assisting in the tracking, remediation and reporting of vulnerabilities as part of the vulnerability management process.
- Developing and optimize operational processes and documentation to support the team and wider business.
- Driving and work on service improvement projects and upgrades as required.
- Managing clear business communications during incidents and project updates as required.
- Contributing to the definition and improvement of processes and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience leading a small support team.
- Experience working with Windows applications and environments.
- Experience working in an ITIL environment.
- Experience working with and configuring monitoring tools i.e. SolarWinds, Splunk, Pingdom
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with financial applications i.e. Fenics, SWIFT, LexisNexis would be beneficial.
