Join our newly created ‘Workplace Services’ team within our Technology function and be part of an exciting journey to build on-site collaboration workspaces and a modern learning environment within each of our office locations, improving the digital literacy of our colleagues across the Group.
The role provides on-site coverage for the Colleague Experience Tech-Bar, introducing a walk-up service, liaising directly with colleagues to provide help and support (including, but not restricted to deskside support activities), developing and delivering training through 1:1’s, lunch and learn and planned training sessions.
As a product evangelist for the Microsoft 365 product suite you’ll have a broad understanding of the entire suite and possess the ability to identify opportunities for innovation within the workplace, driving a measured adoption of M365 across the group. These new roles represent a move to a service-orientated approach – shifting from reactive hardware ‘break-fix’ to proactive 365 product evangelist and coach.
What will your day look like?
- A front of house technology and product owner role, owning & developing a tech-bar style proposition across our office locations
- M365 product evangelist, listening to users and providing solutions and inputs into the CX roadmap for enhancements
- Collaborate with the Product Head and Business Change Specialist on constructing a roadmap of learning events for our colleagues to break down the unknown and enabling a work “smarter not harder” ethos.
- Deliver various learning strategies to our colleagues via various means: 1-2-1, group lunch and learns, potential hackathons to solve business challenges
- Collaborate with the Product Head on the M365 roadmap, understanding upcoming developments, ensuring alignment with Business Change Specialist on communications and readiness to support any queries
- Understand and drive adoption of all of Microsoft accessibility features, reducing risk across the platform by providing a place for users to interact with & training material to learn best practice ways of workings
What do we expect from you?
- A technical evangelist for the Microsoft 365 (M365) product suite with a broad understanding of the suite and all associated services), identifying opportunities for innovation within the workplace, driving a measured adoption of M365 across the group
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to none-technical colleagues and users, on an individual and group basis. Ability to convey information clearly and precisely
- Proven experience to drive user engagement using demonstratable techniques to encourage adoption and usage of M365 tools, including participation and feedback loops
- Experience in a similar colleague-facing tech role – ideally working in a Tech Bar or similar ‘front of house’ operation.
- Proactive approach in taking ownership of customer issues ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Able to work independently as well as within a team
- A solution focused approach to problem solving, with experience identifying and driving improvements to build a 5 star service
