The role

We are looking for a Technical Trainer, who will work part-time, 0.65 of a full time role.

Vitally important for the smooth running of the operation, this role supports the training of both internal staff and external stakeholders, across both Security and Operations. There isn't any People Management responsibility, but you will be required to plan and deliver technical training to internal and external partners which meets both internal and regulatory requirements.

You will also be tasked with delivering high quality training events that combine a wide range of leading delivery styles and training techniques to ensure the engagement, participation and knowledge retention of the delegates. In addition you will be part of a rostered team which delivers specialised training to both internal and external partners. This includes working out of hours on a regular basis.

Other responsibilities include signing off documentation to evidence that training has been achieved to the relevant standard; ensuring all training meets both regulatory requirements and internal standards and the delivery of high quality training courses which enhance the reputation of EMA.

What will make you successful in the role?

You will need a strong working knowledge of Security and/or Operations, including Passenger Operations and Airfield Operations. You must hold or be capable of holding CTC Security Clearance, a full UK driving license & be capable of obtaining an Airside Driving Permit, including all medicals.

The skills we are looking for include the ability to deliver training in a highly regulated environment, strong verbal and presentation skills, the ability to actively engage and influence an audience, and technical proficiency in Word and Powerpoint. Lastly you will need strong organisational and time management skills.
