About The Role
We are seeking a proactive Trade Support Analyst to join our Operations team. This client-facing, hands-on role requires strong product knowledge, excellent data skills, and a collaborative approach to managing technical onboarding and operational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the reconciliation of SWAPS transactions, ensuring data integrity across internal systems and external counterparties, and assisting in the resolution of breaks and exceptions. Responsibilities:
- Identify, map, and validate key datasets for OTC derivative trades (options, futures, swaps, structured products) with prospective clients, ensuring data quality and completeness. Approve AI-driven data normalization and align processed results with client expectations prior to go-live.
- Document repeatable tasks for automation, monitor data gaps, and coordinate with clients and internal IT teams to resolve issues, maintaining clear deliverables for all stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison for onboarding and ongoing support, conducting platform walkthroughs and training, capturing user feedback, and collaborating with Product and IT teams to prioritize improvements.
- Perform daily reconciliation of SWAPS trades, positions, and cash flows with external counterparties; investigate and resolve breaks promptly while monitoring trade lifecycle events for accurate system updates.
- Work closely with technology and product teams to escalate system issues, assist in documenting reconciliation procedures, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements related to derivatives.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial operations, ideally within derivatives or capital markets.
- Basic knowledge of SWAPS and OTC derivatives, such as interest rate swaps and credit default swaps
- Strong Excel skills: experience with reconciliation tools or platforms is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with post-trade systems like MarkitSERV, DTCC, or TriOptima.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.
- Background in SaaS or fintech environments.
