We are currently recruiting for both Trainee and Experienced Bus Drivers for our Chester depot.

Don’t worry if you’ve never driven a bus before – we will provide you with all the training you need, and you’ll earn as you learn! The hourly rate will be £12.38 for trainees for 12 month which rises to £14.56 after and £12.38 for PCV holders for 3 months and £14.56 after.

We’re offering full time opportunities with potential of taking on overtime if you wish to take an additional hours. You will also be supplied with a uniform, training and development – we have opportunities to develop your experience and your career across the business.

About You

Whilst you don’t need any experience driving a bus, we do have a few requirements. You’ll be over 18 with at least 12 months driving experience with no more than 6 points on your licence. The role will be shift-based, so you’ll need to be prepared to work early, evenings and weekends. Next stop, Arriva.

Hours Of Work

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts.
• Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis.
• We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately.
• Overtime available at request / availability.
