Davies Turner has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Customs Clearance Operator to join their team based in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 8DT

Salary: Up to £24,500 per annum

Job Type: Part Time, or flexible hours will be considered, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Trainee Customs Clearance Operator - The Role

We have a vacancy within our Customs Clearance department for a Customs Clearance Operator. This interesting role entails co-ordinating and liaising with Customs Authorities on behalf of Davies Turner, administering all freight requiring Customs Clearance whilst complying with all necessary controls and HMRC formalities and procedures, including bonded stock.

The job is ideal for someone who already has some experience in a Customs environment, or as a first step on the career ladder for someone who is interested in working in Customs.

Trainee Customs Clearance Operator - You

  • Willingness to learn new systems

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build a rapport with Customs and Davies Turner colleagues
  • Excellent IT skills

In addition, you'll also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
