Description

As a Trainee Water Pressure Tester, you will assist in testing, maintaining, and installing components of water supply systems. This includes assisting with pressure testing, identifying leaks, and ensuring the water supply meets safety standards. Training and support will be provided to learn the skills necessary for the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pressure Testing Assist with pressure testing of water mains and connections to ensure proper functionality and identify leaks.
  • Leak Detection and Repair Assist with the identification and diagnosis
  • Sampling and Chlorination Assist with water sampling and chlorination procedures to ensure water quality and safety.
  • Documentation and Reporting Assist with completing necessary paperwork, recording test results, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Safety and Compliance Follow all health and safety procedures, conduct on-site risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration Work closely with team members, developers, and contractors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.


Experience and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of plumbing and water systems is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • A valid driving license may be required.
