Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our
People department, our People Team supports us to recruit, retain, engage and develop our people. Roles can be in talent acquisition, learning, reward, employee relations or people services.

What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll take the lead in helping our stakeholders stay ahead of their training needs by proactively guiding them through expiration dates, course availability, and compliance requirements.
Strong relationships are at the heart of what we do. You'll foster trust and mutual respect with our customers, ensuring they receive the best service possible. Your ability to plan and coordinate training courses and events will make a real difference.
We’re looking for someone who is commercially savvy and can identify the right training providers that offer the best value. You'll consult with both internal and external providers to create a smooth, engaging experience for our delegates.
You'll also play an essential role in maintaining, updating, and archiving training records. Additionally, you’ll support our Requestions PBI report, working closely with accounts to ensure suppliers are paid on time and resolving any payment issues that come up.
New team members will count on you! You’ll ensure they’re entered into Competency Cloud promptly, with their correct trades recorded, required e-learning distributed, and full access granted. Similarly, for leavers, you’ll oversee their transition, making sure bookings are adjusted to minimize costs and benefit our customers.
Most importantly, you'll empower others by providing tuition on the systems we use, fostering a positive learning environment where customers can confidently navigate the tools we offer
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 2 year's demonstratable training experience, gained within, construction, civils or multi-utility background
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, while keeping a keen eye for detail
- Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events
- Good organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Knowledge of learning management systems
- Able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks to meet SLAs
- Confident in interpreting data and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- As this role is based fully remotely, you’ll need a high-speed internet connection along with a suitable desk and chair
