Our Children’s Services are looking for a passionate and dedicated Transformation Data Officer to join our innovative team and help improve outcomes for families in Southwark.

About The Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Role

As a Transformation Data Officer, you’ll play a key role in the delivery and development of our Community Family Help service. You’ll work alongside the Service Manager and Head of Performance and Systems to:

  • Shape and maintain the data profile for Community Family Help
  • Use tools such as Power BI and Synergy to turn complex data into clear insights
  • Support strategic planning through data-led recommendations
  • Coordinate key data returns and ensure compliance with national requirements
  • Create compelling reports and narratives to support transformational change
  • Lead on multi-agency data coordination and performance tracking

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical skills and a passion for improving lives.

You Will Have

  • Strong analytical and data visualisation skills (Power BI experience desirable)
  • Experience in Children’s Services or a related public sector environment
  • An understanding of how data informs policy, performance, and outcomes
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Experience managing or overseeing project activity, data systems, or small teams

About The Team

You’ll join our Performance Team within Children’s Services, a key part of the wider Quality Assurance and Practice Development division. Our focus is building a strong evidence base to support the delivery of service to Children and Families.

We work closely with frontline teams, partners, and senior leaders, combining policy, data, and performance insight to inform better services. You’ll be part of a team that is collaborative, ambitious, and dedicated to improving lives.
