Job Title: Transformation Office Specialist - RISK (PMO)

Location: Durrington, West Sussex (Hybrid, 2-3 days a week)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: circa £45,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Job Overview

Working within the Transformation Office; you'll specialise in project risk and issue management. You will bring a wealth of knowledge on this area and act as the SME within the Transformation Office.

Day To Day You'll Be

  • Managing the risk associated with projects
  • Attending meetings relating to the project stream to offer advise on risk
  • Own Risk and Issue, Dependency and Resource Management
  • Put in place process, practice, reporting and ways of working relate to effective identification and management of risks and issues across workstreams and portfolio.
  • Support the identification of dependencies across the portfolio working across workstreams to ensure effectively managed.
  • Ownership and identification of all resources aligned to Wave,
  • Lead development of TO process and ensure TO team are aligned and aware.
  • Lead on the McKinsey change process in relation to the core system Wave so it aligns with the process.
  • Manage/update the change control log, risk log, TO handbook etc.
  • Complete workstream assurance reviews
  • Maintaining Transformation updates and relevant material, serving as main POC for communication questions/requests

About You

  • Experience working in a Portfolio Office
  • Ideally relevant APM qualifications (risk modules preferred)
  • Good understanding of project structures
  • A pragmatic problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • A helpful and supportive character who can offer guidance in a positive manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Curious – interested in asking questions about what, how or why
  • Organised and capable of managing own work and tasks
  • An observant, patient character who has a 'customer centric' mentality
  • Strong IT literacy, with the ability to learn and become an expert on new IT systems
