JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key accountabilities:

• Develop and implement transition plans, architectures, and solutions that align with business and IT strategies.

• Design and document the architecture for transitions, including high-level and low-level designs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of transition plans, architectures, and procedures.

• Understanding of the Customer Strategy and Business Requirements

• Responsible for technical governance & delivery of enterprise systems and programs

• Create architectural technology and business roadmaps that result in stronger business/IT alignment and drive adoption and usage of technology across the enterprise.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders and other enterprise architects to define the architecture domains.

• Assess business needs, organizational capabilities, IT investments, and translate into actionable IT strategy using industry-proven architecture best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Data Centre experience is must.

• Should be good in both Design and Implementation

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Experience in defining & translating complex Business Requirements into Technical Requirements

• Experience in developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements across DC , Hybrid Cloud , EUC & BSM Technologies

• Provide architectural oversight of projects and maintain alignment between business strategies and business/technical architecture frameworks.

• Ability to present high level ROI (Return on Investment) and Total cost of ownership (TCO) figures to customer senior management during presentation and discussions.

• Previous experience in developing develop high level solution, budget/effort/schedule estimation.

• Interface with senior management to develop, refine, and execute the strategy and IT roadmap.

• Should be an expert on Data Center Infrastructure Design for IDF, MDF and overall user area, voice, LAN, WAN, Wifi is a must.

• Experience in Cloud Computing and its various offerings like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc is good to have.

• Ensure Traceability of requirements through design, implementation, and testing phases of the project.

• Deep understanding on various aspects of technology such as:

• Hybrid Cloud Technologies

• Converged & Software Defined Infrastructure

• Data centre & Cloud migration.

• Compute, Storage and backup

• Data centre build and implementation

• Network (LAN and WAN) & Security

• Service Integration & Management Tools

• Disaster Recovery/BCP

• Data Centre IDF, MDF room rack design with respect to network, server and other assets

• LAN, WAN circuit design. Ability to liaise and build rapport with service providers.

• Site transition, network decommissioning.
