Pilgrims Europe are currently looking for an experienced Transport Manager, based at either Navenby or Ashbourne Feed Mill.
The Transport Manager for Feed Milling UK will lead internal and external feed transport operations team for internal mills within the UK. Travel between sites will therefore be required.
The successful candidate will have day to day accountability for efficient and effective use of own and subcontracted transport assets that enables the team to meet the required service and cost performance targets. Responsibilities will include management and development of relationships with Third Party feed transport provider(s).
The role will report directly to the Head of Feed Milling and will play a key role in making the feed mill operations ‘best in class’.
