Uniserve, a leading logistics and freight forwarding company, seeks a driven and organised Transport Supervisor to join our growing team.
Shift pattern: 5 on 2 off then 5 on 3 off.
Week One: 10am until 7pm.
Week Two: 6am until 4pm.

What you’ll do:
- Oversee and optimise transport operations: Manage fleet activities, plan/approve efficient and compliant routes, and monitor transport management software for departmental efficiency.
- Lead and support the team: Delegate tasks clearly, support the Transport Planning Manager, and uphold health & safety regulations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment: Liaise with depots, customers, and sales to resolve issues and bridge the gap between sales and operations.
- Develop cost-effective solutions: Create transport plans using customer IT software.
- Transport planning expertise: Experience in transport planning and knowledge of transport legislation and management systems.
- Strong professional skills: Proficiency in MS Office, a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and a collaborative spirit.
- Leadership and work ethic: Team leadership experience, a self-motivated and proactive approach, and the ability to meet deadlines/targets.
- Commitment to standards: Dedication to upholding SHEQ policies.
