About The Role

Pembrokeshire Action for the Homeless (PATH) is proud to offer an exciting opportunity to join our groundbreaking Pathway to Empowerment Project , now extended thanks to generous funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and the Garfield Weston Foundation . This vital initiative builds confidence and skills in numeracy, literacy, and digital learning among individuals at risk of homelessness or social exclusion across Pembrokeshire.

Youll work closely with a small team delivering personalised support in a flexible and empathetic way, helping clients build key skills and move forward positively with their lives.

The project will continue the work of the Numeracy Project, which ended in February 2025, following Shared Prosperity Funding of £630,000. We anticipate identifying further funding to continue the support beyond June 2026.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering bespoke learning plans based on each participants needs.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support in community settings across Pembrokeshire.
  • Supporting participants to gain confidence and improve core skills in numeracy, literacy and digital capability.
  • Working collaboratively with tutors, digital leads, and mental health practitioners to ensure integrated delivery and holistic support.
  • Monitoring learner progress and reporting outcomes to funders and stakeholders.
  • Promoting the project locally and helping build community and partner engagement.
  • Contributing to the design and improvement of our learning offer.

  • Has strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

  • Has experience (or interest) in outreach, marketing or community engagement.
