Viva La Visa Ltd is seeking a U.S. Immigration Specialist to take the lead on U.S. work visa petition processes for our diverse creative industry clients.

About Us:

Viva La Visa is a globally recognised visa and immigration consultancy based in the beautiful Suffolk countryside and also a London based office. We specialise in supporting clients in the creative industries — including touring musicians, fashion professionals, TV and film crews, and theatre companies. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you!

Role Overview:

In this role, you’ll manage and oversee the full US petition process, deliver strategic advice to clients, and ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations. The role will focus on O & P visa categories, supporting professionals across the creative sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit employment-based (I-129) visa petitions.
  • Draft, review, and organise supporting documentation.
  • Handle O and P visa applications from start to finish.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies (USCIS, DOL), and internal teams.
  • Keep up-to-date with U.S. immigration laws and policy changes.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload independently while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with our in-house Global Visa Specialists and administrative support teams.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practise law in at least one U.S. state (e.g., NY, CA, TX).
  • In good standing with a U.S. bar association.
  • 2–5 years of experience practicing U.S. immigration law, ideally with strong expertise in O/P visa categories.
  • In-depth knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and DOS regulations and procedures.
  • Strong research, writing, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and remotely.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with visa categories such as O-1/O-2 and P-1/P-1S.

What We Offer:

  • Company Pension: Enhanced pension scheme for long-term security.
  • Sick Pay: Support for you during times of illness.
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Recognition for your achievements.
  • Casual Dress Code: Dress comfortably and express yourself.
  • Industry Perks: Access to exclusive events, shows, and award ceremonies through our extensive creative industry network.
  • Enhanced Holiday Allowance: Annual leave increases with length of service.

Pay:

Competitive salary offered, dependent on experience.
