UK Marketing Manager – Events and Digital

As the UK Marketing Manager – Events and Digital, you will design and execute digital marketing campaigns, oversee virtual and in-person events, and create compelling content for our digital channels. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and identify opportunities to promote Buro Happold’s expertise and values.

You will also have a solid understanding of marketing automation and sales automation systems. Experience working in the AEC industry is desirable. This role is crucial in building brand awareness and driving work-winning opportunities through innovative marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and lead the delivery of digital marketing campaigns across the UK
• Take an overseeing role working with the UK Marketing & Events Coordinator
• Develop and maintain relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders
• Leverage opportunities to build the Buro Happold brand through events and digital marketing
• Produce creative content, including video (including live streaming, webinars, etc), for use across external digital channels in the UK.
• Work collaboratively and supportively with members of the UK Marketing & PR team, UK Graphics, Business Development and Global Marketing teams to ensure campaigns and events are appropriately resourced
• Proactively identify opportunities to promote Buro Happold’s expertise and values through different channels.
• Manage and update contacts lists and databases (e.g., clients/collaborators/other contacts) in a clearly indexed format, including marketing automation and similar systems (CRM/SFA)
• Plan and track budgets
• Working closely with direct reports to support their development

Skills and Experience:

• Degree level education or equivalent with formal marketing training or qualification (e.g., CIM).
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
• 8+ years of experience in marketing/events/digital.
• Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns across different digital channels.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and analytical marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and result-driven.
