The successful Ultrasound Sonographer post holder will have responsibility for the provision of high quality Ultrasound scans within the imaging department .
As a Ultrasound Sonographer will ensure and maintain a high personal standard of clinical excellence, be required to attend training and train other staff as and when required.
All candidates will be required to participate in rotation at different sites.
To accurately perform and report on scans in a timely manner and as directed by the Consultant radiologists and Head of Imaging.
To ensure at all times that the ultrasound equipment is used safely
To achieve high levels of diagnostic outcomes by using experience, knowledge and clinical expertise within scope of practice
To work in the department and on mobiles as required and to promote the maintenance of an efficient, effective and high quality service for all users
