Purpose of the role

Support innovation through the development of market-leading insurance products and underwriting practices. You will play a pivotal role in evolving Zego's underwriting operations, bringing technical expertise, analytical rigour, and a customer-centric approach to our product strategy. This role is central to scaling our underwriting capability across motor insurance segments through automation, data-led decision-making, and continuous improvement.

What you will be doing

• Supported by rigorous data analysis, set and monitor underwriting criteria to optimise quotability and minimise risk exposure
• Proactively make recommendations for product improvements
• Drive innovation in underwriting operations
• Uphold principles of fairness and customer-centricity (e.g., Consumer Duty, Fair Value)
• Interpret data and technical information to support business decisions
