Purpose of role

We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer to join our amazing, global and diverse team, helping shape unique user-centric products and experiences used by the automotive industry across the globe. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with UX designers, researchers, product managers and developers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

Skills & experience

• Present a beautifully designed portfolio, boasting exceptional digital UI design.
• Software UI design is something you have lots of and have a passion for.
• Be bursting at the seams with knowledge of the best responsive UI design.
• Possess a super creative mind able to strategize and execute ideas with others.
• Demonstrable experience living and breathing Design Guides.
• Amplify the UI design message far and wide across our multi-disciplinary folks.
• You’re best buds with Figma, and other industry standard design packages.
• Feel comfortable around code such as HTML5, CSS3 and JS.
• Have top-notch communication skills.

What you’ll do

• Drive the UI design direction of an evolving Design Guide.
• Collaborate with the wonderful Product team in delivering glorious UI.
• Ensure your first-rate UI designs get implemented without any loss of awesomeness.
• Get stuck in with the UX team in observing and analysing user testing and research sessions.
• Keep your finger on the pulse with UI design best practises, emerging trends and competitor efforts.
• Share the love; support and enlighten others with your skills and knowledge.
• Be an active contributor and guardian to the overall digital product UI strategy.
• Be hungry and passionate for awesome UI and UX (and know the difference between the two).
• And above all, have big fun doing it!
