We have a current requirement for a Verification Engineer to join our Compliance team in Glasgow. The overall purpose of the role is to supervise on time electrical regulatory tasks, to budget to fully satisfy customer requirements. This role will support the Technical Support Manager, and the E&M business stream, to drive service delivery which will be recognised by the client and ensure key performance targets and SLAs are maintained.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for reporting designated electrical regulatory work fronts to Technical Support Supervisor.
- Be responsible for liaising with senior internal stakeholder’s regards designated regulatory delivery.
- Be responsible for communicating with the internal and wider business on regulatory issues.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the client ‘site designated responsible persons’ an
- Demonstrate a clear understanding and the administering of the client ATC process.
- Demonstrate good understanding of client site operational process and the respective limitations.
- Ensuring all designated client assets worked on/inspected out turn with compliance to the current electrical regulations and WIMES specification.
- Demonstrate excellent electrical interpretation of the current electrical regulations and WIMES specification.
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing all designated electrical regulatory tendering and ensure that issue procedure is followed.
- Ensure that designated regulatory team are liaising daily with respective planner to ensure all resource is scheduled and task efficient.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar electrical role, you will have an excellent Knowledge and understanding of electrical construction to WIMES Specification. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18th Edition wiring regulations as well as a full UK driving license.
