Veterinary Neurologist

Are you a neurologist looking for an opportunity to join our top team? We are looking for a diplomate or a post-residency candidate to become the fourth neurologist here at NDSR. Heres what we can offer you:

You would work alongside three other neurology specialists offering a great depth of support for each other. Within the hospital we have specialists, clinicians and a small team of residents across a broad range of disciplines including internal medicine, orthopaedics, anaesthesia and analgesia (including offering a leading edge pain clinic), oncology, diagnostic imaging, ophthalomology, soft tissue, dermatology, dentistry and cardiology. This allows you to offer your clients and patients everything they need whilst supporting you to feel confident that you have someone to discuss complex cases with. We have a highly collaborative team culture which means internally transferring cases such as the seizuring insulomina or the SARDs emergency is not something you will struggle with. Our supberb team of 8 rotating interns will support you enormously day and night and offer you the opportunity to help develop the next generation. Our nusing team are exceptional. We have a highly experienced and qualified team of RVNs and PCA's across the whole hospital, including 3 discipline specific neurology nurses with additional qualifications including diploma and VTS holders. We have a team of 4 radiographers with a wealth of experience meaning you can be assured that your images are of the high quality you need. Our client care and hospital support team are the backbone of everything we do; completing the exceptional service that we pride ourselves on.

As a mature hospital we have well established systems in place to help you and your patients get the care, diagnostics and treatment needed, when required. We are always thinking of how we can do better and incorporating your ideas and feedback is second nature to us. Your rota is also very life friendly!

You will have all the equipment you need; we have a Canon Vantage Elan 1.5T MRI and Aquilion Lightning 16-slice CT and our 4 theatre suites are well-equipped to support our team with access to InvetraTM pedicle screw fixation system.
