Position:

The Role

The Voice Sales Specialist will work collaboratively with the sales team to drive voice-related solutions and services. This role involves understanding customer needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and providing technical expertise during the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in voice technologies and excellent communication skills.

  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for voice solutions and support the sales process from initial engagement to close.
  • Income Generation: Work with the Account Management team to develop and execute strategies aimed at generating quarterly income targets through voice solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase voice solutions and their benefits to potential clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge of voice solutions, including VoIP, unified communications, and contact centre technologies.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Product Innovation Leadership: Lead initiatives for product innovation and consolidation, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing offerings and develop new solutions that meet market demands.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the creation of tailored proposals and responses to RFPs that highlight the value of our voice solutions.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide training and support to the sales team on voice solutions, keeping them informed about product updates and market trends.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to inform future enhancements and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Technology, Communications) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, presales, or technical support roles related to voice solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of voice technologies, including VoIP, SIP, unified communications, and contact centre solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft) are a plus.
