Job overview

A core part of Preqin’s growth plan is building out our feeds and integrations business. We want clients to be able to access our data where it’s going to be most valuable for them, so creating, maintaining and taking to market the right suite of access options, specifically direct feeds and integrations, is a strategic priority for us. We have already built a book of customers in this space, and there is significant potential for us to grow this further. We are looking for an experienced product leader to help to drive that.

In this role you would lead our cross-functional Feeds & Integrations team, comprising Product, Engineering and Commercial specialists. You would own the product strategy for our feeds and integrations business, identifying the right growth opportunities and working with the team to execute against these. You’ll work closely with our Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams to orchestrate go to market activity, helping to win and retain clients.

You’ll work across our customers segments, and collaborate closely with our other Business Units to ensure we are meeting the needs to different types of firms within the market. The role will report to the SVP, Head of Product.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify the biggest opportunities for integrations and data licensing, and develop a strategy and roadmap to chase them.
  • Lead an experienced cross-functional team, working together to achieve our business goals. You’ll get everyone aligned around a problem, work together on how to solve it, and demonstrate great execution to turn ideas into real-world products.
  • Work on product, technical and business problems, ensuring that we have the right integrations in market, built to scale well, and can execute against growing out top line.
  • Build great relationships with our customer base, in particular key strategic customers, to drive product discovery and identify where the next opportunities lie.
  • Identify and track the right metrics for your customers and products, using those to define and chase success.
  • Orchestrate go-to-market for our integrations, working tightly with Client Strategy, Sales and Marketing colleagues to grow the integrations business.
  • Build and manage our relationships with integration partners, identify potential high value new integration partnership opportunities, and help to onboard and train those partners to take our data to market, in particular supporting their sales teams.

  • You’re a good executor, with a track record of getting product to customers quickly and iteratively.
  • You are comfortable working with technical detail and partnering closely with technical teams, and you have a great understanding of data.
  • You’re evidence based, using data, customer feedback and market insight to help us to build industry leading products.
  • You’re a great team player who can think independently, and has the confidence to challenge the views of others, including senior management.
  • You take ownership and responsibility for problems, and if you see something wrong, you make it better.
  • Experience of financial services, data products or B2B integrations products is important
