  • Shift patterns - Weekend work is a must for this role. 37.5 hours full time.

For this service driving is a requirement due to the rural nature of the area it is based in.

Here at Lifeways in Hambridge, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant. If you are new to care but have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available at our service in Hambridge where you will join a small, but close-knit team of support workers who care for a single service user.

The person we support lives with learning disabilities and some challenging behaviours. The person we support has very limited communication so they would use boards to convey their thoughts. Colleagues need to work with the person we support to complete all aspects of day-to-day support including personal care, support with cooking, cleaning tasks, support with medication and finances, supporting them into the community, providing emotional support, finding new activities and opportunities.
