Role: Direct Warehouse Support Operative - FLT Driver

Location: Ornua Foods UK, Sunnyhills Road, Leek, ST13 5SP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Rotating Days

Pay: £12.75 per hour

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Working effectively as part of a team you will:

• To ensure safe removal of finished goods from production lines via FLT
• To ensure lines are safely supplied with the correct packaging at requested times and any unused packaging is promptly and appropriately returned to store
• Accurately receipt finished goods
• Support the removal of waste to the compactors
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain a clear working area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and policies
• Ensure that any issues that arise are promptly and accurately reported to the Team Leader
• Support and motivate other colleagues
• Adhere to all other reasonable request
  
  

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 to 12 months’ experience in a warehouse environment
• Current FLT licence for Counter Balance and/or Reach from a recognized training body
• Reliability, punctuality and consistency are essential to enable you to work effectively as a team member
• A willingness to learn, share knowledge and develop
• A willingness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Good verbal, written and numerical skills
