Compensation: £32,000 - £36,500 / year

Description

As a Water Pressure Tester, you will test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure. Working to a high standard and codes of best practice, you will ensure that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.


Key Responsibilities

  • You will have a full and comprehensive understanding of, chlorinating and sampling procedures
  • You will ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain clean, in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager
  • You will identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
  • You will complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
  • You will attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required
  • You will record accurately details of work undertaken
  • You will submit relevant work details for recording in the required timescale
  • You will collect and deliver water samples to approved locations within the relevant timescales

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience of chlorinating and testing of mains from a diameter of 63mm to 355mm
  • NRSWA certificate for operatives
  • EUSR Water Hygiene
  • EUSR SHEA Water
  • Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Disinfection of Water Mains Qualification
