Location: Head Office, Moreton in Marsh

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

The Role

As the Website Trading Manager, you will be responsible for driving website sales and improving the digital guest experience across our online platforms. Your data-driven approach will focus on understanding and improving key metrics such as sales, traffic, average order value (AOV), and conversion rates.

You will manage website performance, including speed, stability, upselling opportunities, and the booking funnel. Additionally, you will handle processes related to demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting, and opportunity analysis. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will develop and recommend sales strategies, including pricing strategies for various segments, while identifying new revenue opportunities. Effective communication with stakeholders will be key to ensure aligning sales strategies and pricing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee in-house Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) activities, to ensure all SEO hygiene factors are in place, enhancing search engine visibility and rankings.
• Manage the updating of website content to ensure it consistently reflects our brand values and engages visitors.
• Take the lead on Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives, including A/B testing, working closely with UX designers to optimise the website’s conversion rate.
• Collaborate with the in-house development team to implement new website features and improvements that enhance the user experience.
• Manage issues related to the Property Management System (PMS) and Resort Suite.
• Conduct performance analysis and reporting to track sales, performance, and conversion rates.
• Stay up to date with new trends and insights by conducting competitor analysis.
• Support the development and delivery of automated email campaigns to drive engagement and revenue.
• Address performance gaps to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in website trading with a focus on optimising website sales and performance.
• A track record of successfully implementing CRO strategies to enhance user engagement and sales.
• In-depth knowledge of analytical tools to interpreting data for identifying trends and actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and innovation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks independently.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
• A proactive approach to introducing creative solutions and continuously improving processes.
• Prior experience with Resort Suite or a similar system is essential.
• Experience in the Hospitality industry.

Further Information

• Head Office based consisting of 4 days office based and 1 day WFH.
• 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a 7-day operation for troubleshooting issues.
