The Role:
- Perform welding operations to a radiographic standard.
- Conduct equipment inspections.
- Adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations, including fume control.
- Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action.
- Ability to identify your own welds for quality control.
- Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards.
Requirements:
- Significant welding experience with a solid foundation in various welding techniques: TIG, MMA, Orbital TIG.
- A multi-disciplined welding approach and the ability to weld a variety of materials: stainless steel, carbon steel and duplex steels.
- A proven track record in large-scale projects in a regulated sector.
- Experience working in environments with stringent quality control procedures and inspections.
- Proficient in welding and fabricating piping systems, understanding the specific requirements of this field.
- Level 3 Welding Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
- EN ISO 9606 certified (or equivalent)
- CSCS card
- Right to work in the UK.
