Windows 11 Rollout Engineer, London, 6 month contract.

Day rate: £450, inside IR35

Pay.UK are seeking an experienced and seasoned Windows 11 Rollout Engineer for a 6 month contract to upgrade the company's existing Windows 10 laptop estate. This role is pivotal in the smooth deployment of Windows 11 to the business areas, whilst ensuring a seamless transition of operating systems to our business users.

We're looking for an Enterprise Level individual, ideally from a Service Desk background who must be able to evidence and execute the following attributes:

  • Be customer service centric who shows willingness to understand business user needs and concerns at an individual/role level
  • Takes a common-sense troubleshooting approach
  • Clear ability to understand user requirements and ensure solution meet business user needs
  • Senior level experience who can work autonomously in person and in digital communication with business users

Key Accountabilities

  • Deploying Windows 11 across multiple laptop models efficiently and effectively
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to the Windows 11 rollout
  • Working closely with the IT team, with clear escalation routes to ensure minimal disruption during the installation process
  • Providing technical support and training to end users post-deployment
  • Creating detailed deployment documentation and reports
  • Managing and maintaining rollout schedule documentation
  • Collaborating within project management governance and key stakeholders to meet rollout deadlines

Skills & Experience

  • Solid experience in OS rollout's, specifically from Windows 10 to Windows 11 operating systems
  • Software packaging experience (Intune)
  • In-depth understanding of Windows 11 deployment processes and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Applicants must be available to work onsite 5 days a week, ASAP start.
